How Sugarwish Started
In 2012, co-founders Elisabeth Vezzani and Leslie Lyon saw a problem with corporate gifting: too many gifts ended up unwanted, unused, or just plain wrong. Their solution was simple but groundbreaking — let the recipient choose.
That idea became Sugarwish, the pioneer of recipient-choice gifting. The sender picks a gift category and budget, and the recipient selects exactly what they want from a curated collection. What started with candy has grown into 15+ gift categories, from cookies and coffee to wine, candles, spa products, and more.
Today, Sugarwish has delivered over 2 million gifts to recipients across the country and serves more than 50,000 companies — including 70% of the Fortune 500.
